How to deploy Applications to Cloud Foundry from DEV@cloud

Follow the instructions below to deploy applications to Cloud Foundry from DEV@cloud.


  1. Make sure you've signed up at
  2. Click the "Create Job" link in the left hand menu of your Jenkins


  3. Enter a job name and choose the "Freestyle Project" radio button.
  4. In the SCM section, choose an option like Git or SVN, and enter the URL for the repository.
  5. In the Build section, choose an appropriate build step to build your application.


  6. Add a second build step called "Deploy applications". In this section, verify that the  Cloud Foundry end point and account are correct.
  7. Now, click the 'Add Application' button in the Cloud Foundry section. Enter a name and hostname for your application, along with a path to the war file.


  8. Click the "Save" button at the end of the page, then the "Build Now" button on the left menu to watch your application build and deploy to Cloud Foundry!
